Dental Wellness of Palm Beach is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Wellington, FL

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental assisting, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical documentation software (Dentrix )
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in using electronic medical documentation software (Dentrix )
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-BILINGUAL ( Spanish Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
